Immortal and Mayhem to play Incubate festival in the Netherlands

Legendary Norwegian black metal hordes Mayhem and Immortal will play the cutting-edge Incubate festival in Tilburg (NL) on Friday September 20th. Incubate takes place on 16 until 22 September 2013. Ticket sales have started at the website www.incubate.org.
Having been one of the most noticeable black metal bands from Norwegian scene,Immortal combines both the signature visual features of black metal and an excellent execution of the ultra-fast but melodic branch of the genre. Mayhem is one of the most controversial bands to be spawned by the genre, but have always focused musically on pushing the boundaries of the genre. These key features make them the perfect headliners for the Incubate Friday, September 20th, 2013.
Other extreme metalbands that have been announced for Incubate are grindcore masters Brutal Truth; exclusive shows by Norwegian black metallers Gehenna, Tulusand Khold; the French avant black metal Neige Morte; Dragged into Sunlight with their blackened death metal from the UK; Sonne Adam (ISR), Chaos Invocation (DE),Serpent Noir (GR), Verbum Verus (NL) and Grift (NL).
Last week Incubate announced for the 2013 edition Worship, Batillus, Prurient,Orthodox, Faal, Iron Witch, Dead Existence, Staer, Hessian, Hexis, Tinner and a grindcore package including Jig Ai, Ahumado Granujo, Nunwhore Commando 666, Satan’s Revenge On Mankind and Stoma.

Incubate is a cutting-edge innercity festival in Tilburg, the Netherlands. In over 20 venues, 200 artists perform between 16 and 22 September 2013. In 2012 the festival welcomed over 15.000 visitors, of which 20% from abroad, mainly Germany, Belgium and England.
In previous years the metal line-up boasted acts like Watain, Napalm Death, The Locust, Aura Noir, Yob, Fields of the Nehilim, Mgla, Altar of Plagues and many more.

Because accommodations in the city in previous years were at capacity around May already, Incubate has its own campsite next to the city center during the weekend.
