Review: Pathologic Noise – Gore Aberration – Greyhaze Records – Release: November 2nd, 2015.

capa_pathologic_onlineSince the mid-90s the death metallers of Pathologic Noise have terrorized the underground scene of Belo Horizonte in Brazil. With their upcoming release Pathologic Noise delivers quite a brutal masterpiece. It has a superb death metal approach without losing that aggressive southern American metal style we all love so much. This is pure aggressive brutal death metal. It’s fierce, nasty and brutal as fuck. I Love the passion in this one. Quite some sick vocal abuse and the two guitar warriors strike us with some nice chunks of melodic riffs. South America has been pooping out quite some brutal death and other extreme metal music. It’s hard to find the good ones who deserve some attention. Pathologic Noise hit the right nail in the coffin with this release. They give us an ongoing terror of noise and aggression. There is no rest for the wicked on this one. I can put this very simple: This is how extreme music is supposed to be.

“Gore Aberration” is a fine example of what an “underground” record is supposed to sound like. A nice hidden gem, which deserves more attention than it sadly will get. Go give them a try. It will be a nice ride!

Score 3,8 out of 5
